Basha dam, located on the Indus River and 165 km downstream of Gilgit, the capital of northern Pakistan, is a 272m high RCC gravity dam with multiple functions such as water storage, flood control and power generation. The water storage capacity is about 7.4 billion cubic meters and the power generation capacity is 4.5 million kilowatts.

In 2020, we formed a joint venture with PowerChina and Pakistan border Engineering Bureau (FWO) and won the bid for the participation in the Basha dam project, with a total amount of about US $2.8 billion. The dam is expected to be completed in 2028. The project is known as Pakistan's "Three Gorges Project".
