SHACMAN's Global Success Stories Ⅶ

Welcome to the seventh installment of SHACMAN's Global Success Stories. In this edition, we will explore two significant projects that have helped transform the African continent and provided humanitarian relief to those in need. Let us take a closer look at how SHACMAN played a vital role in these projects and continued to establish its reputation as a trusted partner for global construction and humanitarian efforts.

  • Serving Guinea's "Three Gorges" Project - Suapiti Hydropower Station Project

Guinea is located on the west coast of Africa and is known as the "Water Tower of West Africa". In order to solve the shortage of electricity, in 2016, the Guinean government launched the Suapiti Hydropower Project. The Suapiti Hydropower Station project was constructed by the China Water Resources Bureau, and more than 50 heavy trucks of SHACMAN were put into all aspects of the project construction. In the early stage of the project, the construction site was in a state of having no roads. SHACMAN dispatched a service manager in time to conduct training for local drivers, solve the problem of using the project vehicles, and ensure the efficient working state of the vehicles 24 hours a day. At present, the project is progressing smoothly, and all construction periods have been completed ahead of schedule. The originally planned 8-year project will be completed ahead of schedule. SHACMAN will continue to carry out the after-sales service of vehicles.

  • "China Star" shining in Ethiopian ports ——United Nations Food Program Relief Transportation

The United Nations Food Programme referred to as the WFP, is jointly organized by the United Nations and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and is mainly responsible for multilateral food aid agencies. The world's largest humanitarian aid organization, the organization's purpose is to use food as a means to help its recipient countries achieve the purpose of self-help and food self-sufficiency. In July 2020, shacmantruckschina Group and the United Nations Food Programme East Africa Headquarters reached preliminary strategic cooperation. The United Nations Food Programme plans to purchase 100 fully loaded trucks from SHACMAN for humanitarian relief in Ethiopia. Since 2020, the domestic political situation in Ethiopia has become increasingly severe and chaotic. With the continuous impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the northern Tigray region of the country has been the most affected by the civil war, production activities have also been temporarily suspended, and the problem of material shortages is extremely serious. Based on these urgent situations, the United Nations Food Programme purchased SHACMAN vehicles for the purpose of transporting food and materials to the region.

Through continued partnerships and dedication to after-sales service, SHACMAN is poised to expand its influence and continue to shape a better future for all.
