Qatar is an important node of the Maritime Silk Road in the Middle East. The Doha New Port project is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf in the Middle East, in the southeast of Qatar. It is the largest excavated port project in the history of port construction. The Doha Port project in Qatar was launched in 2011. It was contracted by China Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd. and constructed by the Second Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Communications Fourth Navigation Bureau. The main project lasted until March 2015, using a total of 200 SHACMAN heavy trucks. During the construction of the project, SHACMAN dispatched 4 service engineers to the project, laying a total of 7.5 million yuan worth of accessories for the project, which ensured the efficient operation of the vehicles and the smooth progress of the project. The project was a milestone in the field of economic cooperation between the governments of China and Qatar. The implementation of the project has great and far-reaching significance for developing Qatar's economy and improving the trade competitiveness of Qatar and neighboring countries.
